us cloth patches in the collection part 1, a remake of a 2013 vid. people..predominantely in america…have been collecting us cloth patches since they were new items..a lot were available in ww2 for commercial sale (unlike british cloth patches which were only made available to the military units) through “the patch king” in new york for kids to collect .they even produced in ww2 a patch book…..on the modern collector scene us cloth patches have always been the poor relation to british cloth patches ,mainly because there was no serious attempt at a reference book until the Kerrigan book in 1967,by which time the vietnam war was under way which brought a whole new series of vietnam related patches into the collector circuit which ww2 us patches gave way to until interest was regained in ww2 us patches in the 1980s ,but due to the enormous amount made and the quantities which could still be found unused,boxed in storage,prices remained low until the 1990s when they started to gain in popularity,mainly due to the internet…
